Dog Home Boarding

If your dog(s) do not do well at kennels and you would prefer them to share our home, and evenings with us in front of the TV after walks and play, then please enquire about our home boarding.

Preseli Pet Care are 'vetted' & licensed by Pembrokeshire County Council to take up to 4 dogs to live with us while you are away. They will have our company almost 24 hours per day. We have a secure garden, fields for games, and the Preseli Hills offer great walks through the countryside. Our home is well insulated and cool during heat waves. We would like to meet your dogs before boarding; this helps them enormously in that they already know us, and the premises, when you leave them.

The cost is £14 per 24 hours for one dog and £10 for each additional dog from the same family. Day-care is £10 per dog irrespective of time. This excludes food so you will need to supply their usual diet. We are happy to collect and return your pets at a charge of 40p per mile, round trip.

We will need a copy of their vaccination certificate please, (kennel cough is not required). Please also bring your dog's own bed, towel and brushes if needed.

You are more than welcome to come and visit here with your dogs before you decide about booking. Please call or email us to arrange this and to check availability for the dates required. 

Sorry we do not take in dogs with aggressive behaviours towards people or other dogs.  We often have four guest dogs and our own resident Briard sharing the house so your dog will need to be well socialised and happy with company.  If we are uncertain of how your dog will be with others booked in at the same time then a meet up will be arranged to make sure they are happy together before boarding.  We are not allowed to take in dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, or wolf hybrids.
