Small Animal Boarding

We can only offer limited facilities for small animal boarding at present but hope to expand in this area soon.  Preseli Pet Care currently has housing for rabbits and guinea pigs which are secure four foot hutches, with ladders to runs below. Also we are happy to take in and look after animals in their own cages as long as they are totally secure.  Rabbits must have been vaccinated against Mxyomatosis and HVD, proof of this will be required. 

We clean out all animals daily; bedding is dust free.  They are then health checked and groomed if necessary before being given fresh grass, fruit and vegetables, clean drinking water and timothy hay.  Also a fruit gnaw is provided for their teeth. If the weather permits they can have time out on the lawn in a secure run.

The hutches are inside a shed but for more cold sensitive animals, we have a quiet space inside the house. Hutches & runs are thoroughly cleaned with an appropriate disinfectant between occupants.

Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
£3 per day for the first animal, companions sharing housing are £1 each. Price includes bedding, timothy hay and fresh food but please supply your pet’s usual mix.

Hamsters & Gerbils, £2 per cage per day. 

Other small animals by arrangement.
